Birth and death certificates may be obtained from the Salem office of the Columbiana County Health Department (330/332-1618); marriage licenses and records are obtained from the Probate Court at the County Courthouse in Lisbon (330/424-9511).

Is there a recycling center in Salem?

Yes, the recycling center is located next to the Fire Department in the adjacent parking lot. The center accepts cardboard, paper items, glass (green, brown, & clear), steel, and aluminum cans.
