Leaf Collection

Paper Bags will be available to city residents at City Hall starting October 2nd – Monday through Friday – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Leaves will be picked up starting at the end of October and end mid December.

Please use paper bags.  Plastic bags will be removed at a later date.

The City of Salem Street Department will not remove the following items from curb lawns:

  • Limbs that are cut.  Only storm damage will be picked up.
  • Grass clippings
  • Shrubs/Bushes
  • Any other yard waste

Bags of leaves are only picked up in the Fall.  The city does not pick up leaves in the spring.
